Betsie™ didn’t start as a business idea — it started as a running joke between friends and colleagues. After years of making playful predictions about who was going to be right with friends, families, and coworkers...
“He’s definitely quitting,”

They realized two things:
From funny little life moments to surprisingly serious calls, Laetitia, Kat, and their friends reveled in the thrill of being right, the humility of being hilariously wrong, and the shared laughter in between. Eventually, one of them said what they’d both been thinking: “We really need a way to keep receipts on this.”
So they started a company, Squeaky Cheese, Inc, and built Betsie!
Kat has a talent for transforming “Wouldn’t it be cool if…?” moments into actual products that delight real humans. Laetitia brings her creative instincts and sharp design eye to keep everything joyful, polished, and perfectly chaotic.
Together, they built Betsie to celebrate everyday moments — the spicy, the petty, the heartfelt, and the delightfully ridiculous. No money, no pressure, just bragging rights… finally backed by receipts.
